The ReadyNAS OS was designed with a focus on reliability and availability in mind.
An often reoccurring auto-spin down of hard discs for example is putting a considerable amount of stress on the discs compared to a rather small benefit regarding power consumption.
So, to answer your question, a standby mode (“mise en veille”) is not implemented at the moment. I know that there will be some changes with the release of OS 6.2, without knowing the exact details at the moment.
