2 Modems with same MAC address

I am wondering if anyone can help me! On January 27, 2020, I purchased a renewed Netgear Cable Modem from Amazon. I ran into a problem where COMCAST says that my MAC address is the same as another COM...

If its refurbished and bought in january, its probably outside of the return window and the warranty window on renewed/refurbished items.
