AC1600 Unable to update firmware (Not Tab saying Upadate)
I have a Netgear Wi-Fi Router AC1600, C6250 v1, I’m presently on Cox.net and all works correctly and able to access the internet with my direct wired desk PC as well as my Wi-Fi devices.

I found the answer to my own question.
It seems that Cox may have modified my Cable Modem so I can not update firmeware.
I checked this page
https://kb.netgear.com/000036375/What-s-the-latest-firmware-version-of-my-NETGEAR-cable-modem-or-modem-routerand found out that Cox has not approved any firmware updates and is presently approved only 1.012.24
But the question still exists can they modify my firmware so I'm unable to update my firmware?
Has anyone else on Cox verify they removed the tab to check for firmware updates and Install New Firmware?WOW...
