Access denied errors attempting to login to management interface
I have C3700v2 also, I have reset the unit twice to factory default settings due to access denied errors attempting to login to management interface.
Since the unit is no longer under warranty, I have no other option other than to open a ticket and allow tech support to attempt a maintenance check.
I'll update with the results.

Disconnect the ISP Coax cable from the modem. Reset the modem by pressing the reset button for 15 seconds then try to access the modems setup wizard using a ethernet connected PC and web browser:
