Advice on proper hookup and settings for C3000, G5605 and multiple devices.
Due to a power surge on the cable network I had to buy a whole new setup. I purchased a C3000-100NAS with firmware V1.01.11 because it is a combo cable modem and router. However it only has two 10/100/1000 network ports. One port is for my PC I game on. The other I hooked up a GS605 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch, to this I have 2 Xbox 360s and a smart tv hooked up to. All are using cat5e or cat6 cables. I use the wireless function for a laptop, and cell phones. My computer works fine, the wireless works fine, but everthing hooked to the switch does not. If I hook one of the xboxs directly to the C3000 (removing the switch) it works fine. Since the switch is supposed to work automatically, I am hoping some setting in the cable modem/router is not right. Other than changing the password and setting up the wireless function, all other settings are default. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

Hello Draxiumwulf
I would check a couple settings the first is under Advanced-Setup-LAN setup make sure use Gateway as DHCP server is checked and then under Advanced-Administration-Router mode make sure that is on yes.

All set that way by default, But I unset them, saved and reset them and saved. Managed to get smart tv online but not xbox, even then things were real slow. Going to find different cables to try.

Tried a few cables from c3000 to g5605. I also reset the modem/router, starting and restarting everything, I got functionality, but kind of unstable, occasionally get dropouts both on xbox360 , xbox one . Wi-FI seems weaker and seems to drop connections
