Bridge mode c7000v2

I saw the post on how to do this and I'm able to make this happen. I've done it before but for some reason everything reset and I have to do this again.

When I turn router mode off. I no longer have access to the web genie. And my Google wifi still doesn't give me internet.

Last time I did this I called either cox or netgear and they were able to do something to allow this to function properly. But now when i call they want to charge me to answer some simple question.

What am I doing wrong. Turn off router mode my Google wifi should still have internet right? It's in port one. Connects to everything but still no internet

You'll need to refer to Googles support and and information regarding there product and show to get there product connected.

At most, a power OFF of the modem and there router for 1 minute then back ON with the modem first then there router should work...

  • Hello All -

I was reading through the forum threads & this appears to be closes to the issue I am having so I decided to reply here for some assistance. I placed my C7000v2 into bridge mode & connected a laptop directly to it via ethernet. I can access all internet sites; however I am unable to access the router using 192.168.0.1 & my mesh router is not receiving a DCHP address so there is no accessing wifi from there or the mesh node. DOes anyone have any ideas why I would not be able to access the modem/router directly via ethernet?

192.168.0.1 took too long to respond.

    Try:

    ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
    Check your Internet connection
Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems, or other network devices you may be using.
Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings.
If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server…
Check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server: Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings… > Change proxy settings… > LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN".
