C3000-100NAS and Wireless AP setup

I have my own purchased Netgear C3000-100NAS that I was using previously with my ISP. It has firmware v2.02.18. Now that I have service from a different ISP would like to use this Netgear to have my Wireless Network extended and put my personal cable modem/router to use as a Wireless AP with a different SSID or have it talk Wirelessly to Wireless to my Primary router.

Any help from community for setup would be appreciated.

Thank you very much...Ave

The C3000 is a pretty slow N300 modem/router combo device. I wouldn't even try to use that for that at all. It'd be a massive bottleneck. Not sure what you're primary router is right now but a cheap used triband extender (EX7700, EX7500, EX8000) would be much faster and lower latency

C series modems generally require a Coax cable connection to the ISP for both gateway and modem only mode.
