C3000 Speed is slow for LAN

I just upgraded my Comcast account to 150Mbps download speed. The highest any speed test shows is 94Mbps. Comcast came and replaced the cable from the box to the building and we tested the interior cable as well. Is there a setting I could change to try to get more speed; for example, what does changing the Starting Frequency do? (It's currently at 0.)

  • I discovered the culprit—my laptop has a Fast ethernet controller rather than a Gigabit controller, so it won't get above 100Mbps. Off to buy a Gigabit USB ethernet adapter and see if that will work.

    Hello HokieCharles

Have you tried speed tests to different servers because having 150Mbps does not mean you get that all the time its up to 150Mbps.
