C3700-100NAS frenquently gets (factory?) reset

I noticed within the last 2 weeks (8/28/2019 today) that my device lost setting. Although I haven't checked every single setting, I'm aware at least the following settings are reset:

  • Admin page password
  • SSID and the credential for all wifi network.
  • Saved hosts.

Potential trigger: Although I'm not sure, I've been noticing that this issue occurs after I had to restart the device (either through the admin page's feature, or unplugging & re-plugging the power cable).

    Any one have access the the modem and it's reset button? This would be only one way that the modem could be reset or the ISP forced a reset from there end which they shouldn't be doing.

      First of all, I forgot to mention in my original post that this issue occurred **TWICE** within the last couple of weeks.

      No, I was the only one at home for both times.

      Given your comment, I now am going to ask ISP's (Comcast) customer support for the help.

        Have them check there logs for anything. 

         

        Hope you find out whats going on.
