I have a brand new N600 WiFi Cable Modem Router that we recently installed. It has terrible range. Our old router used to reach all through the house and this one is limited to the rooms closest to where the product is installed. Is this is a defect with the product and should I return it? Or is it a setting that needs to be adjusted?

You may want to adjust the wireless channel in the wireless settings and see if you get a better connection on the wireless.
