C6300 - customer experience
I wish I had read some of customer reviews before I was invested 200 dollars in my first and experience with netgear. I had Belkin and Apple routers before Never had an issue. After using netgear for a little over a year I started losing signal, I went through resting modem several time and before Comcast said it is an issue with router. After a long lengthy explainition by netgear I was told that it’s an intference issue but still since warranty has run out to have to pay up.
I thought, hmm I have been living hear for several years I have had the same neighbors I can even some of the same networks, what suddenly changed? I have never an issue with the other router/modems. And why now? I asked my self do you want to pay 150 dollars to deal with this again?
Simple answer get a new Belkin or Apple and don’t worry about getting hit for coverage a little over year and bad service.
Just cut your losses, get a dependable router and modem or rent one it will be cheaper. I did the math. Don’t pay extended warranties it’s nit worth it.
Good luck if you choose Netgear after this post, I did my job of posting my experience with you all.
I Feel better about buying or renting a new (Belkin or Apple) router and modem.

Are you looking for possible solutions?
Netgear's support scam is infamous. You can get free help here from volunteers who may well know more about your hardware than the script jockeys who demand money.
If you do want help, you will have to say a bit more than "I started losing signal". That could mean anything.
The first thing you could do would be to post your message in the section where they talk about cable modems and routers.

This section is about wifi routers.
