C6300 Dropped all connections (wifi & LAN)

My internet is with comcast and have been using this router (own) for the last two years without any glitch. This afternoon I lost all wifi & LAN connections suddenly. Tried power off/on & event factory reset but nothing worked. Called the tech support. They tried to send the reset pulse but said that it couldn't reach the device. But all the front LEDS are lit green and internet LED is solid. I even tried to connect to the router admin (192.168.0.1)directly by connecting an ethernet cable between the router and a laptop butgot the message that it couldn't be reached. Comcast tech is gonna be here by tomorrow evening but  since I work from home, I was wondering if anyone could give anymore ideas to try to troubleshoot earlier. I have ran out all ideas. I just hope that I won't have to replace the router.

What is this "a laptop", and what is its (Ethernet) IP address when
you do this stuff?  "connect" using some web browser or other?

I connected the LAN port of the laptop to one of the LAN ports of the router, opened a web browser and typed 192.168.0.1. For the laptop's ip address, I tried both auto and fixed addresses. I even checked the laptop's ip address using ipconfig /all and each time it showed a valid ip address.

And the relevant port-status LED indicator(s) did what?

So, your "a laptop" runs some version of Windows?  That report would
be even more interesting if I could see any of the actual IP addresses
to which you refer.  (Sadly, with my weak psychic powers, ...)

As usual, showing actual actions with their actual results (actual
commands with their actual output, error messages, LED indicators, ...)
can be more helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.
