C6300 WAN DHCP Lease
Hello,
I'm experiencing an odd issue with my C6300 modem router. If the unit looses power or is rebooted I can no longer connect to the Internet. It appears that the WAN port (incoming coax) does not get assigned an IP address. My ISP is Wide Open West (WOW) and they see no problem on their end. The only solution I have found is to factory reset the unit. This is extremely frustrating of course, to loose all of my custom settings. I've also noticed that even though I've stopped changing any settings I unplugged the modem today and was forced to factory reset again to connect to the Internet.
Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you!
The current firmware version is listed as V1.02.20

- StaileAspirantIn case it helps this is what the internet port section looks like when it isn't working. I've removed the MAC address line

IP Address/Mask ---.---.---.---/-
Connection DHCP Client
Default Gateway ---.---.---.---
Domain Name Server ---.---.---.---- VE6CGXMaster
If you reset, you need to configure the router again or restore saved config file. Tried just rebooting>
