C7000 - Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Model Router suddenly saying "incorrect password"
I have a C7000 - Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Model Router. All of a sudden, i am being presented with "incorrect password" dialogue on my Macbook Air and Iphone 7. Restarted phone and computer. Restarted router. Same experience. Cannot figure out how to fix even after reading other boards. Desperate as I WFH and have a major client deliverable due in two hours. Can anyone provide steps to resolve? Thank you!

have you tried doing a hardware reset of the device? Hold reset button on the back for 7-10 seconds. Then reset the device from factory settings.

I inserted the paper clip but there was no visible indication of a factory reset. No lights turning on and off. Is this expected behavior? Also, how does one reset from factory settings.

Yes, if you insert a paper clip, you should feel a small click from pushing the button. It shouldn't take much pressure to do so. Hold the button until the lights change/start blinking.
