C7000 Randomly drops internet, on my laptop with only a 2.4 ghz connection.
I have a contract with Netgear for support, and I use to own a C3700, but the range was poor (it would not reach my bedroom) 35 feet away. So I upgraded and purchased a new C7000. The range is good...
The next time the laptop is connected, run the following command in a Command Prompt:
netsh wlan show interfaces
It will look like this:
You will want to look at the Signal strength, expressed as a percentage. If it's low, say less than 50%, then that may mean that your laptop has more difficulty at picking up the Wi-Fi signal than your other devices.
