C7000 Very High Internet Traffic stats ( Spectrum )

I am seeing the same thing with the C7000 and Spectrum. I mean look at these crazy high numbers for the month. I only stream Netflix at night a couple episodes. Never download huges files. I looked in my router logs, and see nothing wrong. No devices attached, except for my home devices. No rogue devices. I logged into Spectrum, and for the past 14 days, their side says I used 74GB for this month so far. But the Netgear modem shows much more higher usage. lol.
My C7000 has firmware version V1.01.15.
I've tried calling Spectrum to update my firmware to the latest, v1.01.23, but their support people are idiots. They say Spectrum doesn't provide any firmware updates. But the Netgear link here says to contact our ISP for updates. I've tried several support calls, and they don't seem to know how to push an update to these modems.
I am also having wireless dropouts, so would like to see if the latest firmware fixes it. But they cant figure out to push an update to my modem!
So do I need to get DD-WRT firmware? I am about to load third-party firmware on my router, if things dont get fixed by Netgear!

This looks like a bug to me. I'm still seeing the issue on my side in the router.
yes, the latest .23 for spectrum but spectrum behind by many months on pushing FW for C7000 (and lot of other devices).
For all the Cable devices, FW has to be pushed by the ISP.
Comcast is current on the all the latest FW and pushes the FW within couple of weeks to all of its customers. I cannot say same about Spectrum even though we go through certification process. Unfortunately, we cannot do much in this unless spectrum improves this for their customers.
I have seen this problem for quite some time in my copy of NetGear genie. It prompted me to set all possible alerts on my provider’s web page under my account. Unfortunately, the earliest I can get it to alert me is when I hit 50% data usage which I rarely reach since I get 1tb per month. I recently was updated with some new software and eventually noticed the traffic meter numbers looked almost actuate. I have turned on the meter but find it strange that it only lets me set a limit of 999999 (Mbytes). I tell it to send me a message when I hit 750000 Mbytes and to reset at the beginning of each month. It sent me the message on the sixth. I must be reading the numbers wrong again because I thought 750000 represented 75% of my data usage but I have still not received an email alert from my provider stating I have surpassed the minimum 50% usage.
If this meter is actually telling me the numbers of all the traffic on my network and not just the internet traffic, that’s fine but it is somewhat useless to me. If it IS telling me the total traffic on my network then why not be more useful and tell me in Gbytes or Tbytes with option to set it to Mbytes?
Also, does anybody know how I can look up individual data usage for each connected device and set it to per month, day, hour, I need to restrict the data hogs and not interfere with others who are courteous to the others on the network. I can restrict a hard wired line but that can be worked around as well. I need to restrict a specific IP address.
