C7000v2 modem will not allow login, password reset ONLY
Please help. I have purchased this Netgear C7000v2 modem/router to replace the ARRIS modem I was renting from WOW. I got it connected, activated and it does provide internet, BUT I cannot login to change any settings. EVERY single time I either go to 192.168.0.1 or routerlogin.net it brings up the password reset screen. I enter the serial number, then enter the answers to the security questions, then it takes me to the reset screen where I set the password AGAIN, and then select security questions AGAIN. After that is says password successfully changed, when I click next it takes me right back to the Password Reset screen again. I never get any different results. I have tried Chrome and Edge with the same results. I need to login to the router but cannot. It is only a week and a half old, do I need to return it and get something else, or can this be fixed. I cannot access the router to download new firmware. Have no idea how to fix this. Have been searching this problem on the web for days and it seems to be pretty common. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

chrome and edge are now based off the same engine.
Have you tried firefox?
Also try going to 192.168.100.1

I am working from home, my personal laptop is broken at the moment and I am trying to use my work laptop. Due to due to administrative settings I cannot download a different browser to this laptop. I had looked into firefox but it is no longer allowed on these work machines for whatever reason. Thanks for the suggestion, I may need to get my personal laptop serviced to do this.

You can try a tablet/phone browser
