C7000v2 Setup Xfinity
hello,
I started a new deal with Xfinity , Internet / TV Double Play but wanted to use Netgear Modem Router AC1900 instead of provided one from Xfinity.
When hooking up modem after taking out of package I saw that I neded to use coaxible cable to hook to wall outlet. Because I have no computer to hook it up through earthnet. I have a coaxible cable running from outlet, on one side of room, over to other side of room connecting to a splitter on one side and have both the Modem Router and Xfinity tv box connected to the two other ports on otherside of splitter.
When looking at my account in Xfinity. I see that my service is confirmed and activated. But , when I plug in the Modem I can not figure out why the Internet LED Light will not turn solid green?
Is there something I'm missing or did with hookup through coaxible cable? I did notice on my account that the installation day is not confirmed though. So is it on Xfinity end ?

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.
