C7100V , two laptops won't use the internet. Everything else is working
I recently just purchased a Netgear C7100V earlier tonight and everything seems to be working great, however, two Lenovo laptops that my parents uses can connect to the 2.4 GHz connection, but they won't have any pages loaded when they try using the internet. It's just stuck in a loop of loading, or it goes to a crash page where it says the internet isn't working, even though it says they're connected. I should also mention the 5 GHz connection doesn't show up at all for them. I'm assuming that's because the wifi chip they have isn't compatible.
The Lenovo laptop models are G580 and G585. Are they just not compatibile with the C7100V's connection in general? Because once again, I tested both connections with all of my devices, and they work with no issues. Is there some wifi setting I need to enable, so the Lenovo laptops won't struggle?

I dont these laptops support 5GHz at all.
you can see spec for one of them, it only supports 2.4GHz (b/g/n whichs means just 2.4GHz).

Always try to buy laptops with dual-band support and 11ac standard which is out for last 5 years.
from 2019 onwards, you will see new 11ax standard which supports even better WIFI.
