C7100v has no firmware unavailable
Yesterday NETGEAR had firmware available, today it’s unavailable!
Even if it’s available today, I couldn’t accomplish the firmware update, because my isp didn’t know what I was talking about, and NETGEAR customer service wanted money for his service!

There was a spate of fake update alerts for cable modems on the iOS app a while back, but they are just that, fake. A bug in the app.
The firmware on your cable modem is beyond your, and Netgear's, control. ISPs are the only people who can do things to your firmware.
....and NETGEAR customer service wanted money for his service!Who did you talk to. A lot of people make the mistake of running an on-line search for "Netgear support" only to wind up calling a number that has nothing to do with Netgear and exists solely to relieve you of your money.
