C7100V
Will the Nighthawk AC1900 Model C7100V work with my chamberlain MYQ wifi enabled garage door opener and allow me to open the door using my smartphone. My current router is a Arris TG862 from Xfinity phone/internet/Wifi and it is not compatible.

Most likely.

Who determined that, and how?
Generally speaking, networking is networking. If the MyQ stuff does
not come with a list of specific compatible (or incompatible) routers,
then it's a pretty safe bet that it should work as well with any one of
them as it does with any others. There may be some configuration
requirements, but if these were very strict, then very few users would
be able to make it work.
Without a good explanation for why it didn't work with the old
router, I would not spend money to throw new hardware at a problem for
which there's no evidence that new hardware will help.- none2008Aspirant
The tech at chamberlain which is the manufacturer of the garage door opener told me that there is only a few routers that will not work and mine is one of them. It is also listed on their website as not compatible. I contacted Xfinity which is my cable provider and they said it would only work through their My Home app. which is part of their home security which I do not have.
