C7500 Nighthawk Authentication Errors

NETGEAR NIGHTHAWK C7500 CABLE MODEM/ROUTER

FIRMWARE: V1.01.32

ISP: NEW WAVE COMMUNICATIONS

Please somebody help me!! Netgear will not respond to my numerous support tickets. Working from home and depend on WiFi and having constant dropping device issues. ISP has been out and tested and everything is fine on their end. They do say however this Nighthawk cable modem/router is an expensive NIGHTMARE in their experience. Every single day devices drop connections. "Authenication Error Occured" is the buzz wrod in our house. Rebooting the device, forgetting the network does not work. It is like this POS router picks a device on a daily basis as the "stinky kid" and it has the problem until moving on to the next. Rebooting the router does work wit the device in question, but after a few hours another device goes down with the same problem. It does not discriminate either...phones, laptops, smart switches, and even Alexa. I have an android phone and my wife a a Iphone and it does it to both equally. "Authenication Error Occured" constanly. Just keeps trying to connect and will ask for password multiple times...even though we are entering the right one. Netgear did send me a replacement back in 08/2019 for this same issues, but within a few months...same old problems. And now will not respond to my support tickets. I know we are in a national crisis and they are probably over loaded, but I paid $400 for this POS and expect it to work...I am part of this natioanl crisis and depend on the internet to to my business during my shelter in place order. I have done an extensive search on the internet for a solution and tried everything and nothing works.I am begging for help at this point!!!

Forgive me for being confused, but can you tell us what the problem is in simple terms? I can't tell from that solid slab of text.

You might get better and quicker replies, and find other answers, over in the appropriate section for your device:

The problem is waht you so eloquently called "that solid slab of text". It is a complicated issue that many people are having and I was trying be specific to the problem and solutions I have tried. I urge you Google or search this community for "C7500 Authentication Error Occurred" you will see my point that many people are having this issue and NETGEAR is being no help. Lets try this again..I will type slowly this time:

The Cable Modem part of this device is working fine...channels locked and bonded...no correctables. Speed is stable at 100MB Down/10MB Up. All LAN connections stable and not dropping.

On the WIFI side most devices remain connected, however some devices randomly drop out and are not able to connect and get they get the Authentication Error Occurred message. This can happen spontaniously or for example...my phone is connected to the WIFI, then leave the house and obviously gets disconnected, but when i come back...device will get Authentication Error Occurred and not be able to connect.

This happens to known devices and new devices. Rebooting the Modem/Router several times a day sometimes helps and everything connects again, but sometimes it will just knock a different device off with the same error.

Simple enough explantion? Please before you make some off the cuff suggestion about something I have already tried...I implore you to read the original post in its entirety. Thanks in advance for you help and sorry to be short tempered, but I have had this same problem with 2 of these C7500 routers (detailed in original post) and I am at my wits end. If I could go to Best Buy and talk to the Geek Squad about buying a different Medem/Router  Iwould in a heartbeat...cannot for obvious reasons as you know.
