C7800 upgrade?
I have a c7800 midem/router that is aging. My home is 2,000 sqft, my internet provider is Xfinity and I have their 500gb plan. I have about 20 devices connected to my network. What is a reasonable co...
The problem: I need to reboot the device once a week as it begins to slow down dramatically. My normal speed of 500+Mbs drops and stays at ~100 Mbs. A lot of device start failing to connect. Also, Xfinity stopped supporting the device. I suspect I am no longer getting updates.
I would like a recommend of a combo that doesn't have these issues and supports Wi-Fi 6.

The C7800 was the best modem/router combo device before the CAX line came out. Its a pretty rock solid device and docsis 3.1. It should handle your needs easily. the slow downs are probably line related.
do you have a screensnip of the cable connections page (show your upstream/downstream values) and the event logs? that helps check the line back to the ISP.
