C7800, WiFi issue only. Incorrect password

Purchased from BestBuy July 2020. The wired is giving me 225 out of 200. Great! The WiFi worked great for about two weeks. Now the signal is present and dropped more frequently everyday. When it does stay available, it states that the password is incorrect. It is still set to the factory password. Resetting it has done nothing to fix the issue and has the most up to date firmware. Another glitch, after turning off and on the only light on was the power light. But devices showed the WiFi signals. It still cut in and out but no lights. I had to unscrew the Internet from the modem then screwed it back in and the all the lights for the internet and WiFi signals came on. Do I just have a faulty model?

Try a factory reset of the modem and setup from scratch. Let us know if this helps any.

I have done a factory reset, twice. Once using the button on the back and the other using Netgear genie. It didn’t resolve the issues.

Notice the time stamp at the bottom of the picture for the system. 1970, then when it states that it is connected it shows a day ahead. My internet provided is national but not global. So the server wouldn’t be on the other side of the world.
