Can a AC1600 Cable Router-Modem be configured as a DSL Router-Modem Model: C6250-100NAS?

I am a novice at this and I think I bought the wrong modem-router online today.  Is there some way to re-configure this router-modem to operate as a DSL router-modem?

    Cable and Phone line based DSL different in the way they work. No compability between two. If I have a choice between two, I'd pick cable for sure.

      Thank for your reponse.  I would select cable, but live in the country and no cable is available.
