Can no longer login to my CM2050V modem

Hello.

I've been using a CM2050V modem that I purchased for use with Comcast a little over a year without issue. When I got it, I changed the login password, as the default password was "admin". Now today I am no longer able to log in. I have tried the password that I have been using, and even just admin, but it doesn't work.I have also powered the modem off and back on, and also pressed the Rest button on the back. But nothing I do will allow me to login to view the modem signal levels like I have been.

Thank you.

I got it to work. Had to do a few of the resets on the back, and a 2 min power down. Then was able to use the password printed on the bottom and login.

But when I went to change it to the password that I had been using (6 lower case characters and several numbers) it said that one character now had to be capitalized or use a special character. So I did the same password as before but capitalized the first letter. Now I can log in. But something must of changed, for my old password not to log in, had to factory reset, login with the defaults password, then use when trying to change to my old password I had to capitalize the first letter.

Can you try a factory reset with out the ISP Coax cable connected. Press the reset button for 10 seconds then release. Then try to log in. If you can get in, then re-connect the ISP coax cable to the modem.

I've tried that, disconnecting the coax, pressing the Rest button for 30 seconds, let it reboot, still can't log in. I've tried my phone, laptop, and wired PC and non of them will log in. It was working just fine last week.

Only thing I can think of is that the ISP sent some config down to the modem and blocked access. Might ask the ISP about this. I've not seen CC or XF lock out user access but anything is possible. Possible some configure got sent by accident. Might has them to check there config file and re-send it and factory reset it from there side.
