Can the D7000-100NAS router / modem connect wirelessly to another router?
I wanted to purchase a (long range capable) modem-router such as the D7000-100NAS that would give me both of these options to connect to the internet: 1. The option of connecting to the internet using the internal DSL modem for times when I have a DSL service provider such as CenturyLink. 2. The option of connecting wirelessly to another (LEGALLY available to me) internet source router that is provided by our apartment complex for all residents. The reason I need both options is that the apartment's free wireless router's source signal is weak in my apartment, and it might not be capable of streaming video. So I want both options available in the same product to give me flexibility between those two options. I would be able to avoid getting a DSL provider if the wireless option works, and if it doesn't I could still use the same product to access the internet using CenturyLink and I wouldn't have to do any product returns Thank you for your advice and suggestions. Please keep replies simple. I'm really a novice when it comes to all of this networking stuff. Thank you, Dennis
Hello Dennis24873
If the wireless signal from the apartment is already weak i do not believe trying to extend it will help the situation since you are wanting to do some video streaming.
