Cannot connect CM600 to Cox despite a live connection on cable - worked using a Cox modem/router
My CM600 is not able to connect to Cox internet. The cable is live with a Cox connection. I had a tech come out, and he confirmed it was live and verified by using a Cox modem/router.
I verified the S/N and MAC with Cox serveral times, but the router is not pushing anything through. They were not able to send a signal to it at all. I went to the default access link and factory reset the modem multiple times through this process with no luck.
Looking for any solutions. The tech mentioned he had seen this before, and it might because my modem was linked to a different ISP before. I called the ISP I had used and they were unable to locate my account from 4+ years ago, so there was no way to check.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

May need to get into a different modem if the ISP can't associate the CM600 to there system.

Who was the prior isp?
I've seen an instance or to where the prior ISP's firmware caused issues when the new ISP sent their provisioning. It tends to be an issue with an ISP who only support IPv4 and the new one provisioning using IPv6
