Most Netgear WiFi routers have a menu that includes the WAN and LAN setup. Often the WAN information is on the Home Screen.
Since the issue appears to be inability to reach the Dashboard after the system has been Factory Reset and configured, I worry that perhaps 192.168.0.1 was the LAN IP address immediately after the Factory Reset, but the process of configuring the C6230 has changed the LAN IP on the C6230.
p.s. At some point, the subject of "Why????" is going to come up. A DOCSIS 3.0, WiFi5 router is a bit "long in the tooth". As long as:
- The ISP connection is less than 400Mbps, and
- There are not many WiFi6 capable devices in the house (modern cell phones, laptops, tablets, etc.)
then "use it until it dies."
