Can't access my C6220 router from the genie app or get the app to recognize it.

Question

I am trying to regain access to my router through the genie app, and every time I try to log in it goes to the screen that says I need to connect the routers network and then login even though I'm connected to the network. I've tried every WiFi channel, sane result, it won't even list my router or register it as available, but it is a registered product. Any ideas?

Have you tried logging into the router from a browser? Not using the app.

you can either login via its ip address or routerlogin.net

I have, but it will do wants the same thing as in continuously loop to the log in screen.

have you tried hardwiring into the router to access it? Or are you doing this over wireless?

I've had several people struggling to access their router when they were accidentally connecting to the wrong network.

Yeah, I've done hard wire, any of the 3 wireless networks, it's like it's been hacked and then I've been blocked out or there is a firewall that went let me access it.

There is a reset button on the back of the C6220 that can set everything back to defaults. You'll have to reinstall the device but it'll get you back to the defaults and ability to get back into the device. push and hold it for 7-10 seconds.&nbsp;
