CAX 80 no WIFI

just had a brief power outage. have lan internet but no wifi. rebooted 2xs, all lights are white. router login doesn't work either. Thanks in advance.

    did the wifi on/off button get hit? push and hold it for 2 seconds. 

    The routerlogin doesn't work? what happens? Are you able to get to it but not log in? 

    How old is it?

    What else is on the network? It is important to start things in the expected order so that each device takes it cues from the components up stream.


    Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:

    • Turn off and unplug modem.
    • Turn off router and computers.
    • Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
    • Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
    • Turn on computers and rest of network.

    If that doesn't work, tell us what the modem/gateway is at the head of the queue.
