CAX30 - Disables internet on network name change.

Helllo,

I have a CAX30 that I purchased from Costo (and also exchanged as of yesterday), that when I complete my network setup in the nighthawk app with a wifi network name change, disables my internet and the modem then becomes unreachable despite devices being 'connected' to the wifi. If I reset the device and run a new nighthawk app setup, leaving the network name as default, I will be able to connect. The issue is I have many devices using a network name/password that I created. This has now occurred on 2 CAX30 cable modems on Xfinity internet.

Device: NG Nighthawk AX2700 CAX30 Cable Modem

ISSUE: Name change disrupts router from connecting to the internet.

-Name change disrupts all devices' ability to reach the internet.

-Internet works if the network name is not changed.

-This exact same issue has occurred on 2 CAX30 cable modems.

my network name - 'my.network.name'

Cannot connect to the internet on either band, despite being connected to the modem.

cannot reach the router admin page after the network name change.

The Nighthawk app no longer connects after the network name change.

ISP: xfinity

What happens if you change the ssid name through the browser and not the app?

      Unfortunately the exact same thing.

I've tested this now on both modems...

I have no idea why this is causing such an issue, but I will probably end up having to just return the modem if it can't handle simple network name changes...

If i leave it as the default netgearxx network, i have no issue.

this occurs on both the app and the browser.
