Cax30 8 months old.
Internet would connect,but no wifi,, called provider and usual stuff, sent signal wait 10 minutes, unplug for 30 seconds, still no wifi. Connected to wifi, but no Internet. Told to call netgear. 1st agent got me into netgear login, Advanced setup, traffic meter, and it was all 0,s appeared to shut off when data use was 0, and no reason it did that! He told me dont do anything ,they would call back, but 3 calls back all were terrible garbled connections. Tired of waiting,I finally entered 10000000 Mgb , (I think we have 2 terabytes)

What FW is loaded currently? If v2.1x, I recommend that you downgrade to v1.4x. Were seeing issues with newest FW thats out and about and giving problems:

- Solution 1. If Traffic Meter is enabled, disable it.
Haven't seen anything related to why the traffic meter is configured this way, however. I believe I read somewhere this was part of a firmware update that turns on the Traffic Meter by default, but I can't confirm that. If I find anything (and remember to come back here), I'll post it, but I'm sure your Google-fu is as good as my Google-fu.
