CAX30 Firmware v. 2.2.1.12
A while ago Netgear recommended downgrading to v. 1.4.12.2 after the CAX 30 automatically updated to some version 2. Currently the modem is mostly stable but has to be rebooted sometimes several times a week, sometimes it goes for months without rebooting. Optimum Alltice is no help claiming that their service is 99.9% reliable. I noticed that there is a firmware update v. 2.2.1.12. Does anyone know how stable this release is? Has Netgear corrected the problems with the previous v. 2 firmware that I had to downgrade from? I have both firmware versions downloaded but reluctant to update the firmware without additional information.

I used the current version and it was stable but that was on xfinity.
I'd make a backup and try the new version. If you're having issues, post a screensnip of the cable connections page and event logs.
