CAX30 modem not recognizing upgraded speeds from XFINITY
Upgraded my plan this weekend 800 mbps and I am still seeing 60 megs down and 6 up. Looked for a Qos setting on the CAX30 modem/router, restarted, reset, and have been on the phone with multiple xfinity techs that say the modem is incompatible. This modem should handle 860 mbps or more depending on the frequency of the wifi channel.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Reset the CAX30 and set it up from scratch. It may have carried over settings that it inherited from your old Internet services.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
If you have any more problems with your cable modem/router you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & Routers
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads. - plemansGuru - Experienced User
Are you testing wired or wireless speeds? 60mbps is pretty standard over 2.4ghz but you should get faster wired.
what wired speeds do you get?
Did you factory reset it after the upgrade?
