CAX30 Poor Cable Connection (Downstream)

Does anyone know what would cause this difference on Channel 2? When I had a poor downstream connection last year I put the Attenuator (screenshot attached) on the cable that plugs directly into the ...

    Comcast is in the middle of a nationwide network upgrade.  The addition of the second OFDM channel at 957 MHz on your connection shows that the upgrade has started in your area.  It could take weeks or months for the process to be completed as it involves replacement of amplifiers, taps, nodes, and other hardware.  Once replaced, the line technicians often have to manually re-balance part of the system.

    As of the last update, your CAX30 is not on the approved list of hardware that will be allowed to connect to the Next Gen network.  It will still connect to and function fine on the old network that is still operating, but will not have the increased upload throughput.  See attached.
