We've also forwarded this on to NG. They are looking into it.
You can try loading prior version of the routers FW to see if this helps. If not, you'll need to wait for the fix.
- Cax30userInitiateThanks for the reply. Customer service is outrageous though.

Most 1st level support industry wide is.
Will do what we can to keep NG on it. 😉
When I viewed the latest firmware versions; I was unable to download it. So I downloaded to a previous version (1.4.11.2) . But it seems like Netgear changed it so the "latest" firmware is now 1.4.11.2. I forgot what firmware I was on; but I did revert to a previous version. I also got the email about the cable modem. So it seems like there was another "latest" firmware version had issues of it's own and removed.
edit: the "latest" firmware version I was on was 2.1.5.2. That version is not available to get at this time of this post.

I haven't heard if its the modem side firmware that was updated thats causing issues or if its just the standard router side.
If its the router side, you can try downgrading it and see if that'd help.

Let us know if downgrading FW helped you get the modem working again.
