CAX80 - Regrate to Purchase it.

I had C6300 and decided to go with piece of junk CAX80 (Paid $459) due to my cable Internet upgrade to 1Gbit. CAX80 worked for 104 Days only and it stop connecting to Internet. Internet provider said that issue is with CAX80. I couldn't even launch routerlogin.net to manage it and my nighthawk app on iPhone wasn't even able to connect it. Has anyone experience this issue before with CAX80?

Called Netgear and because 90 days passed, I had to purchase their support contract to even talk to someone about this issue. 6 months support contract Paid $89. Worked with Netgear support person did troubleshooting and he opened RMA for replacement. Paid $30 for overnight shipping.

Replacement CAX80 received, refurbished product in Mexico. Plug it in and same issue. Can't connect to routerloing.net or 192.168.1.1. Worked again with Netgear support person and after troubleshooting. Replacement CAX80 is also bad, so now I will have to spend more money to send it back. They can't open 2nd RMA because they still haven't received my 1st bad CAX80.

So after wasting my time and $$$, I'm still using my old C6300 (which is Docsis 3.0 and can only support 300-400Mbits speed) and I will end up with refurbished product assuming next replacement piece will work. This is not what I expected from Netgear and really disppointed in this product.

Are you able to access 192.168.100.1?

Are you able to ping the router?

One thing to check on is my understanding of the paid support is that if it is a hardware failure requiring RMA that they refund you the service contract. I'd check into that as a hardware failure should be covered under warranty.
