Cax80 gaming latency
Hello
This device is a beast in terms of wifi range, signal, and download speeds but wish I knew it came at a cost that competitive online games are unplayable due to latency.
There is so much latency , please someone help me.
Some of the solutions I tried are:
1. Tried the modem at multiple locations.
2. Tried using it on gigabit 1gbps plan ,currently on 600mbps/25mbps upload
3. Always using wired Ethernet for gaming
4. Resetting the modem/router and making sure only 1 device is connected to it (pc)
5. Resetting the modem/router and installing old firmware.
6. Latency is also visible in Wi-Fi while playing games on my consoles and has similar effects which is on my pc, (where the latency gets worse over each 5 seconds, by 2 minutes my screen is 3-4 seconds behind enemy replay and I feel clear system latency. My pc specs are alright too I have rtx 2080 super and 4gz OC cpu. My problems are not only on wired but also in Wi-Fi games on consoles.
7. Why does the most expensive router like this not have QOS settings?
8. There was a similar post someone made where he had latency which jumps instantly and made online gaming unplayable for them. I could not find it.
9. I thought initially my old place had issues with wiring and I moved to a new location and made xfinity technician visit and ensure all wires and signal levels are good.
10. I tried from cat7 cables and 7 different cables to see if it helps.
Please has someone figured this out.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Any progress on this?
