And you did disable Protection Engine?
Disable Smart Connect.
Try a Networking Reset on the phone. Not a full factory reset, just a networking reset. Check with the phone mfr on where this item will be located...

You might reach out to NG and ask for additional help and information.
Might ask if you can downgrade FW back to prior and see if NG can block your unit from updating to v5 FW.

I tried with EAX80 been off and CAX80 having its own wifi and with EAX80 wifi and CAX80 having wifi off....
Same results.
