CAX80 wifi occasionally hangs

I have had a CAX80 for several years, generally very good.    Perhaps once a month the wifi stops working.    The RJ45 connections still work fine.    I power cycle the CAX80 and all works again for ...

thanks to all who replied. 

 

I had a hang again today.   I logged in and clicked "attached devices" and saw many 2.4Ghz devices still attached, but none at 5.0Ghz.    I turned 5.0Ghz off and on and all was well without a power cycle.   

 

hardware version is 1.01.    firmware 5.1.1.8, cable firmware 1.02.08.    I click on "router update" from time to time, but it seems like many months (>6) since there was any new version.

 

i see the menu to schedule a restart, but the minimum off time is 30 minutes, which is not ideal.

 

5.0GHz was set to channel 36.   I just changed it to 48.    Will see if that makes any diff.

 

attached devices shows 4 wired, 9 @ 2.4ghz, and 9 @ 5.0GHz.
