CAX80 Xfinity Speed Issues
So purchased a CAX80 because I upgraded to a 900Mbps plan on Xfinity. Anyone else having slow speed issues? Activated the device fine, connected to the 5ghz connection and ran a wireless speed test. Shocked at the dl speed....108Mbps. My previous Motorola Modem/Router combo was getting min 400Mbps on plan with lower speeds. Did a factory reset on the CAX80, activated, same issue. Any solutions to this or something I could try?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What wireless devices are you using to speed test with?
Are wired speed test results to spec?
Is Smart Connect enabled? Try disabling this.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Traffic Meter.Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Latest Firmware version.
Using MSI laptop and cell phone.
Shows Netgear channel is set to Auto and under 5ghz settings I changed that channel to 48.
Disabled Smart Connect, Armor Security and Traffic meter.
Picking up about 14 other networks in the area.
When I tested ethernet connection, I was getting similar speeds.
After the above changes, tested 131Mbps on phone, 121Mbps on laptop.
The coexistence setting only allows me to enable or disable the 20/40 setting. Does not allow me to select one or the other.

Okay so looks like the CAX80 just need to sit for awhile.....I know Comcast has told customers that it may take a few days for a new modem to fully get up to speed......just ran a speed test with laptop....hit over a gig on wireless. Ran ti again and hit 855. I can definitely live with that. Phone still struggles, only hit 255 down. Laptop does have Wifi 6 so that may be helping as well.
