CBR40 connected to T-mobile gateway through MoCA adaptor

I have a T-mobile wifi gateway device for my house that only has ethernet connections. Can I connect my Orbi CBR40 with coax input to my existing gateway via ethernet through a MoCA adaptor?

No. The modem side of the CBR is looking for Cable DOCSIS protocols from the ISP to connect to and associate too. Requirement for CBR gateways.

but you could probably pickup a cheap RBR40 or RBR50 to replace it for one without coax. Since its an older system, plenty of them on the local facebook or ebay.

You can configure the CBR for a faux AP mode if your still wanting to use the wifi portion of the CBR and RBS.
