CG3000D-RG 802.11 g vs n

I have 2 laptops. Both Windows 10. Both with Wifi adpaters that say 802.11b/g/n in their properties. One Laptop connects at 802.11N, the other at 802.11G. How do I get the "G" laptop connecting at "N"? Thanks.
