CG3000Dv2 disconnect

Modem used for couple of months and then disconnect and connect.  Called NetGear and they said I need to buy extention for support with is $79 so they can update software in modem.  They said that they also foward or unlock the IP from Comcast to have it running.  

 

So temperary solve the I power down the modem and wait for it to get internet again.

 

PLEASE careful, if you buy this combo modem/router device.  I called a couple of times for custmer service some are very nice and some are bad.  So just reconsider when you have an option to buy CG3000Dv2.

    Hello SJ

     

    When you say dissconnected do you mean the internet light goes out on the modem or are you just not able to load any web pages untill you reset the modem?
