Charter does not support your modem

I buy this product but before I did inside it they referenced charter as it being able to work with. Now I get it and they cannot activate it. Why would you all be saying one thing and Charter saying another? I am a customer of both charters services and your brand of routers and would loved to have a cable modem and a netgear router all in one. But no that did not work and I am going to be $198 just in store credit because I have lost my receipt and its an open electronic. So now I get to return it yes but netgear please do the people right and check with cable comapanies before saying they will support them. Because charter does not wish they did but they said they did not.
