CM1000 and COX gigabit not working? any ideas

I have just upgraded to COX gigabit which they have with Docis 3.1 modems like the cm1000, but after they have enabled it and had the tech out they test and get 1G at the cable out of the wall but once its in the modem its only like 150-200ish MBPS, They werent sure why as the modem says its supported. is there some change needed, some setting that needs to be done to enable this modem to support the higher speed? they said to contact Netgear and ask about that and ofdm settings? not sure but if anyone has any ideas let me know, they put in one of their docis 3.1 modems and speed went up right away but i would like to not buy another modem since i just purchased this one a few months ago.  Let me know

thx

Vince

no. it should work easily at 1 gig as lot of folks are running at gig speeds.

did you find out what is the exact config file sent to your modem? Did cox actually provision the device at 1 gig?

do you see OFDM enabled on the CM1000 GUI? (Please paste screenshots).

they said that had, they have put another modem in temporarily that gives better speed.  Can i hook another modem on the network to view the GUI page ?or will that just cause conflict and mess it up ?  they are coming back monday next week to review and work on some more

you can stil connect your CM1000 just to check OFDM is enabled or not. It should not impact your other modem internet connection. just dont connect both the modems at same time.
