CM1000 and Xfinity

Just upgraded from 200mbps to 1000mbps and my speeds have stayed the same besides my upload has went up. Well, my download has short seconds where it hits 500, but usually i hover around 200. Is this an issue with the modem or with comcast?

Be sure to power OFF the CM modem for 1 minute then turn it back on. If you changes speed services, the modem may not see the change until it's power cycled off.

Be sure after it's back on that you connect a wired PC to the back of the modem and run speed tests from a PC or laptop with your ISP speed test site or Ooklas speed test app.

Appreciate the info. I have already tried this, but the issues persist. I've tested my cables and the coaxial and they all look good. Sometimes I get 900 mbps, but it's fleeting and I hover around 250-400 for the most part.

I would contact the ISP and have them check the line up to the modem. IF all is good, possible that CM maybe faulty...
