Cm1000 lan connector not working

Cm1000 modem where the power, down/upstream and internet light are all solid green. The lan light is off. Rebooted and reset the modem, changed cables and connected a laptop directly to the modem.

    Does wiggling the lan cable while plugged in do anything. Thought maybe the connector on the modem could have come loose. 

    Directly connected with a wired PC? 

    If nothing seens to bring the connection LED alive, the modem maybe bad.

      Tried wiggling the cable and that didn’t work. Connected to a laptop and no difference. Called Netgear and did all of the tips they had. They came to the conclusion that my 14 month old router needs to be replaced. So I replaced it with an ARRIS one.
