CM1000 slow speeds with wave
My CM1000 is not reaching gigabit speeds through Wave Broadband in the SF Bay area. When I first started the service 3 weeks ago, we reached 650 mbps but the speeds have steadily declined and have remained consistantly between 150 and 230 mbps.
I had a technician come out today who said the lines were perfect. We further tested the line by plugging in a modem from his truck in. He was able to reach 950 mbps. This would indicate to me that something is wrong with my modem. I have checked, and it looks like I should have the latest firmware available. I have attached some screenshots of all the settings I can see on my modem.

Be sure to test with a wired PC connected directly to the modem, with out any external wifi router connected.
Be sure your PC can support Gb speeds. Some dual core CPUs are quite fast enough. Quad core CPU PCs should be good enough.
Be sure your PC has any background running apps disabled as well before testing.

I have tested speeds while directly connected to the modem. I am running the tests on my desktop pc with an i7-6770k and an Asus Maximus Hero VIII with a gigabit network port built into the mobo. I have also done tests directly through my router when it is plugged into the modem and I get the same speeds. The router I have is an Asus R7500-200NAS NightHawk X4 Dual Band Router (AC2350)

So you don't see anything near 900Mbps with a direct connected PC?
Might try another modem...
